Can I sleep train my newborn?

Not yet. Newborns (0–3 months) are too little for formal sleep training—they still need to feed often and don’t have consistent circadian rhythms.

Instead, focus on safe sleep habits, soothing routines, and following their cues. Around 4–6 months, you can start gentle methods if you want to.

For now? It’s all about survival. Sleep “training” = hoping they nap longer than 20 minutes.
