Some babies like to dine in leisurely fashion for 45 minutes. Others are in-and-out, 10 minutes flat. There’s a huge range, and both ends can be totally normal.
The goal isn’t the clock—it’s making sure baby gets both foremilk (the watery thirst-quencher) and hindmilk (the creamier stuff that helps them grow and sleep). If your baby unlatches on their own and seems content, you’re good to go.
Also: sometimes babies just snack. Sometimes they cluster feed like it’s a bottomless brunch. You’ll start to spot the patterns, even if they feel random at first.
